Terms and Conditions

All orders are accepted on the understanding that the following Terms and Conditions are adhered to.

Payment Terms for Credit Account holders is 30 days from date of invoice. Non Credit Account holders are required to pay upon receipt of a proforma invoice.

Prices - Whilst every effort has been made to ensure all prices in our catalogues are correct at time of printing, the company reserves the right to amend prices without prior notification. All website prices are deemed to be correct and will be honoured at all times.

VAT - All prices are subject to VAT at the prevailing rate at the time of despatch.

Delivery is Free to UK Mainland on all orders with a goods value of £300 or more, excluding VAT and is only to ground floor level only.

Please Note: Some areas of Scotland and Ireland are subject to Carriage chargesregardless of order value. If in doubt please check with us prior to placing your order. (Some branded products carry their own minimum order value of £300. ie. Sebel Products. This is clearly stated within the pages of our website) Any order under these values will be subject to a carriage charge of £25. For deliveries outside the UK please contact us for a quotation.

Refused Delivery - Unless prior notification has been received, any refused delivery will be subject to an aborted delivery charge of up to £250. We strongly advise customers to telephone us prior to refusal of any delivery.

Faults and Damages must be reported in writing within 3 working days of delivery date. We suggest that all visual aids products be examined upon delivery or should be signed for as 'damaged' on every occasion as claims cannot be entered into if signed for 'in good condition'

Product Guarantee/Warranty - Where stated within our catalogues or web pages, a Product Guarantee or Warranty relates to that offered by the Manufacturer of the product. Any product found to be faulty will be replaced by the manufacturer, however, in the event a replacement is no longer available then the manufacturer reserves the right to issue a credit for the faulty product. The Educational Warehouse Ltd (furniturewise) cannot be held responsible for manufacturers product guarantees or warranties.

Goods Ordered in Error - For returnable products, notification should be made in writing within 3 days of delivery date. A re-stocking fee of up to 40% of goods value will apply to any returned products. All returns are at the expense of the customer. Products that have been made to order are non-returnable. These items are clearly marked within the pages of our catalogues and on product web pages.

Product Representation - Whilst every effort has been taken to reproduce product colours and finishes on this website, the colour and finishes of products supplied may differ slightly. Where necessary we reserve the right to supply products of equal quality and appearance to those images that are shown. The manufacturer also reserves the right to alter the appearance of a product for reasons of technical improvement without prior notification.

Title of Goods - Remains with The Educational Warehouse Ltd (furniturewise) until payment is made in full. We reserve the right to gain access to your property to remove our goods should payment not be made in full.

Please Note: Some minor assembly may be required on some products and that deliveries are to ground floor level only. As a precautionary measure please do not dispose of your old furniture until you are in receipt of your new furniture.
